Samuel David Lehrer: Providing Tips for Maintaining Laser Equipment

Cosmetic procedures have been revolutionized by lasers which ensure precision and effectiveness in treatment. However, maintenance of these devices is essential to ensure effectiveness and safety. Here are some tips for maintenance of laser equipment. During my consultation for medical laser, Samuel David Lehrer provided useful insights that helped me save a lot of money on repair of laser equipment.

1. Maintain the Cooling System

The cooling system needs regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Follow the maintenance timeline suggested by the manufacturer. Usually, water coolants and filters need maintenance every 6 months. Also, you need to disinfect the cooling system every 12 months.

2. Store the Device in A Temperature controlled Room

Extreme temperature fluctuations may cause damage to various elements of the machine. This can reduce efficacy and lead to malfunction. So, it is essential to store the machine at room temperature.

3. Dust Routinely

Dust can accumulate on the device and cause internal damage. Follow a regular dusting routine to stop accumulation of dust and avoid compromise with the performance of the equipment. Clean the air filter, air vents, and side panels to prevent debris from entering the device.

4. Protect the Cords

Avoid bending the cords excessively. Also, inspect cords regularly to identify signs of damage and replace them if you notice any cuts or cracks.

5. Operate the laser on Stable and Even Surface

Avoid using the machine on uneven surfaces, this can misalign the internal components and have an impact on performance and accuracy. Check the stability of equipment before use to precise and safe treatment.

6. Schedule Regular Inspections

Schedule inspections and maintenance by a professional technician to ensure optimal performance. The professional helps identify potential issues that may affect the functionality of the devices. Regular inspections can help detect issues early before they become a huge problem.

These are some tips to maintain your laser equipment and enhance its lifespan. When it comes to medical laser, Samuel David Lehrer can help you with maintenance and inspections to ensure your equipment is in the best condition.
